Sleeper
UI Components Design + Icon Redesigns
As a UX/UI designer at Sleeper, I created a scalable library of reusable UI components and redesigned key icons to support a fast, intuitive experience across fantasy sports leagues (NFL, NBA, LCS).
The component library was all built with a mobile-first mindset and tailored for high-pressure use cases like live drafts and trade deadlines. Alongside this, I redesigned the icon system to be more visually consistent, legible at small sizes, and aligned with Sleeper’s playful brand.
I partnered closely with engineers and product teams to define behavior, accessibility, and states, ensuring smooth implementation across web and mobile platforms.

Icon Redesign
As part of a broader effort to modernize the UI, I led the redesign of Sleeper’s icon system — shifting from detailed, filled icons to a more minimal, line-based style.
Many of Sleeper’s icons appear in compact areas throughout the app — such as toolbars, overlays, and small interactive elements — so clarity and scalability at smaller sizes became a top priority. The new icons were designed to be lightweight, consistent, and more legible across both light and dark themes.
This change not only improved usability but also aligned better with the overall direction of the updated UI component system, reinforcing a clean, mobile-first design language.
